Conditions of reservations and payment of accomodation
Program “FLEXIBLE TERMS OF CANCELLATION COVID-19” – Special conditions for cancellation of accommodation
Due to the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus or COVID-19 disease, we are witnessing many challenges for business, especially in terms of booking and cancelling accommodation.
In order to facilitate your decision to book accommodation in the future, we have introduced the program “Flexible terms of cancellation COVID-19” which includes special conditions for cancellation.
In the event that you book accommodation for any period during 2021, we will allow you to cancel and transfer your accommodation booking to any other period for which the accommodation facilities AR are free, up until 31st December 2022. This will be possible in the following situations:
- 1. Closing of the borders – of the Republic of Croatia or of the country where you will be residing, i.e. staying; and
- 2. Prescribed quarantine / self-isolation or mandatory testing obligations upon return to the country of your residence.
The right to cancel, that is to transfer the dates of use of the accommodation will not be allowed in other situations, including, but not limited to situations such as:
- 1. Cancellation of a flight or any other mode of transport;
- 2. Self-isolation / illness / exposure to SARS-CoV-2 virus;
- 3. Recommendations of your country of residence i.e. where you live, to not travel, i.e. there is no explicit ban;
- 4. Non approval of annual leave by the employer; and
- 5. Travelling banned by the employer.
In the event of cancellation of the arranged accommodation, in accordance with the above given conditions, AR will issue you with a cancellation voucher which you can use to reserve, i.e. to book accomodation for another period, for the value of the advance payment. The cancellation voucher can be used until 31st December 2022, i.e. new accommodation can be booked up until 31st December 2022.
The cancellation voucher is not exchangeable for money.
If the total cost of the new period of accommodation is less than the value of the cancellation voucher, the difference in amount is not refundable.
If the total cost of the new period of accommodation is higher than the value of the cancellation voucher, the difference in amount must be paid in addition.
1. CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION AND PAYMENT OF ACCOMMODATION
1.1.Reservation and advance payment
As confirmation of a reservation, it is necessary to pay a non-refundable advance payment, to the amount of 30% of the total price, to the host’s bank account, which will be sent to you by e-mail. The deadline for paying the advance payment is 7 days from the date of reservation. Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a confirmation that the advance payment has been received and that the accommodation is reserved for you for the agreed period and for the agreed number of people.
1.2. Price
The price includes the use of fully furnished and equipped accommodation, electricity, gas, hot and cold water, air conditioning.
Use of Wi-fi and a washing machine is included in the price.
The price includes tourist tax. Stays of less than 6 days increase the price by 30%.
1.3. Payment for accommodation
At least 7 days before arrival you are obliged to pay the remainder of the agreed price for your stay.

All persons staying at Anima rent facilities are obliged, upon arrival, to complete the formalities relating to registration of their stay, to submit a passport / identity card for registration in the e-visitor system. Passports will be returned to you the same or next day.
Upon receipt of the complete payment, the host will issue you with an invoice for the accommodation.
1.4. Deposit
Together with the payment of the stay, upon arrival you are obliged to leave a deposit of 300€, in case of damages. An hour before departure, call the host to inspect the accommodation and if nothing is missing and no damage has been done, and if no additional cleaning is required, the guarantee will be refunded in full.
2. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The time of arrival of guests should be between 4 pm and 8 pm, and the departure and return of the key no later than 10 am on the day of departure. Only persons listed in the reservation can use the accommodation. If for some reason there is a change, please inform the host by e-mail before arrival.
Request for an extension of stay should be submitted earlier by calling +385 98 283 388.
3. NUMBER OF PERSONS
Only persons listed in the reservation can use the accommodation. If the maximum number of people is exceeded, including children, the host has the right to deny entry to the apartment, without giving any refund.
If the number of persons changes from the day of booking to the day of travel, inform the host immediately.
Pets are allowed (at a charge of 10 € per day)
4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Guests staying in the AR holiday facilities are obliged during their stay to maintain the accommodation; furniture, appliances, equipment, accessories and all objects, in the same condition as they were at the beginning of their stay. Guests are responsible during their stay for any breakages and/or damage, and/or destruction of objects and/or equipment.
Guests are required to report any damage immediately by phone or e-mail.
It is forbidden to remove any item that is part of the holiday home or copy the keys used during the stay. The landlord reserves the right to reduce the deposit for any additional cleaning required, at a cost of 15 € per hour, as well as to use the deposit to cover the cost of any damages.
5. HOST ‘S ACCESS TO THE ACCOMMODATION UNIT
The host will be allowed to enter the property in case of an emergency intervention or in order to inspect the property.
6. BEHAVIOR
Guests are kindly requested to behave politely and correctly, and especially to be quiet during the night hours from 11pm to 7am. Guests are not allowed to invite people who are not guests of our house. If guests do not respect this, the host has the right to ask them to leave the accommodation without any refund.
Smoking, the use of drugs or other opiates are not allowed within the Anima Rent facility.
7. ITEMS LOST OR LEFT BEHIND
The host is not responsible for personal belongings that may be lost or left in the rented property. Please contact us within 48 hours of departure, and we will do our best to send you the items left behind, but we do not guarantee a successful return. So please review the accommodation before leaving.
8. RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHILDREN
Sole responsibility for children playing on our property is assumed by their parents, guardians or companions.
9. RESPONSIBILITY
In case of non-compliance with the provisions of the house rules, the landlord has the right and obligation to intervene in the rent, and even terminate it.
